February 16, 2010: A two-hour experiential presentation entitled "Awakened Doing" explores the interface betwen contemplation and service. It is part of an ongoing series entitled "Conscious Evolution," a monthly discussion group focusing on ecology and mindfulness offered at Mercy Center, Burlingame, CA. Mercy Center Burlingame is an internationally known conference and retreat center in the San Francisco Bay Area and is a leading center for contemporary spirituality. February 28, 2010: Poet Drew Dellinger will be a guest presenter at our home for an afternoon of poetry reading. Two other poets, Betty Kissilove and David Ergo, will join him to benefit Conexions, Partnerships for a Sustainable Future. See Conexions.

If you are ready to make this kind of commitment to yourself, this small group experience provides an opportunity to make a new beginning, to develop a committed spiritual practice and to experience a different kind of Love—one that has been called the emergent consciousness. Live interview with LaVerne Hotep, producer and host on Peace-It-Together Pittsburgh, a radio program which highlights positive peace building efforts and is dedicated to educating listeners about the root causes of violence, crime and conflict.
